The Buskers are an Auckland based funk/rock covers band that includes some of New Zealand's top musicians. The members have performed alongside Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, John Mayer, Tommy Emmanuel, Jimmy Barnes, Bryan Ferry, Simple Minds, Joan Armatrading and many more. The line-up includes guitar/vocals, bass, drums and keys/vocals and they perform regularly at bars, corporate functions and weddings all over the country. Their sound is a mix of rock, funk, soul and pop and their set covers a wide range of music, including songs by Ben Harper, Kings of Leon, Lenny Kravitz, Prince, Ray Charles, Tom Petty, U2, Crowded House, The Beatles, The Police, The Killers, The Commitments, The Black Crowes, Foo Fighters, Jimi Hendrix Stevie Wonder and many more.
